Always use a heat protectant like the Foundation Mist when working with a straightener or curling iron. Go for soft, nonchalant curls by using a straightener. "Hold the straightener vertically for a soft curl. I glide the straightener through the strand I want to curl. At the tips, I loosen the straightener a bit to create that nonchalant effect."
